FILLING

CAUTION: If radiator, heat exchanger, cylinder head or cylinder head gasket is

replaced, DO NOT reuse old coolant.

NOTE: The cooling system is filled year-round with a mixture of water and anti-

freeze plus G11 corrosion protection damage agent. G11 and coolant

additives will prevent frost and corrosion damage, the formation of chalk and

in addition, they raise the coolants' boiling point. For these reasons, the

cooling system must be filled year round with anti-freeze and G11. Due to the

higher boiling point, the mixture is also an aide to operational efficiency

where engines operate at high loads, particularly in tropical climates. For
