QSO Controls.
TX Text (13 Characters) is an input box for simple text messages. This input box is editable
and right clicking it will bring up a menu of 'macros' as defined in setup. Do not begin a
message with RO, RRR or 73 as those will be sent as shorthand sequences no matter if
you add text after those 3 words or not. [I hope to correct this in future revisions, but for now this
exists both in JT65-HF and other programs implementing the JT65 protocol.]
TX Generated is an input box for messages generated by the program. You can not manually
input text into this box or edit it. When you double click a decode in the decode output
window this is where JT65-HF will display what 'it thinks' is the correct response. The set of
buttons below this input box will also generate messages that display in it as well.
Enable TX – Halt TX are reasonably self-explanatory and will be enabled when a valid
message is in the message buffer (input box) that is selected. Remember that TX will not
begin until the proper time (the start of a new minute as determined by even/odd selection).
TX Even – TX Odd sets whether you TX on even numbered minutes 0, 2, 4, 6...58 or odd
numbered minutes 1, 3, 5, 7...59.
